The event is designed to give an honest and inspiring look at life and work on island and to showcase the opportunities on island for returning graduates.

Returning to Guernsey - can graduates afford to?

In the recent survey conducted by GradRoutes Guernsey, 38.2% of Guernsey’s graduates/university students listed housing costs and availability as a factor in not returning to the island after their studies.

Deputy Sasha Kazantseva-Miller, President of the Committee for Economic Development, and Deputy Steve Williams, President of the Committee for Housing will be addressing these concerns in this online webinar.

Homegrown Futures - 22 December 2025

An informal event showcasing the wide range of career opportunities for graduates in Guernsey if they choose to return after their studies.

A representative from each of the digital sector, the creative sector, the finance sector, the public sector, the construction sector, the legal sector and the HR sector will give a short elevator pitch on what it is like to work in their industry, and the pathways that are available to graduates.
